Our anatomy module, led by Susan Michel, builds upon her foundational work in the anatomy module of our 200-hour teacher training. As a seasoned expert in the field, Susan will guide you deeper into the complexities of the human body and the relationship between anatomy and yoga practice.
Specifically, we will be looking at the often misunderstood structures of the feet in supporting the leg line leading up to knees, hips, spinal and even head support. We will explore shoulders, wrists and the role of the breathing diaphragm in relation to all central axis joints.
In this advanced module, you'll explore how anatomical knowledge informs intelligent alignment, injury prevention, and personalized modifications for different body types.
Susan’s approach makes anatomy accessible and engaging, helping you apply these insights directly to your teaching.
By understanding the body’s structures and systems on a deeper level, you’ll gain the confidence to support your students with precision and care, enhancing both their experience and your teaching expertise.
